Court Street Kitchen, an upscale American restaurant, nestled in the vibrant Court Street Plaza of Cincinnati, Ohio, is an embodiment of culinary excellence and community connection. With its prime location near the iconic John A. Roebling Bridge, which seamlessly links Cincinnati to Covington, KY, Court Street Kitchen is more than just a dining destination; it’s a bridge
of connections— geographically, socially, and gastronomically.
OVERVIEW
Our mission was to craft a brand identity and design that reflected Court Street Kitchen’s essence of connection and community. The restaurant aims to be a neighborhood hub, offering a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Complementing this is VII, a separate lounge space within the restaurant, known for its outstanding cocktails, mood lighting, and a state-of-the-art DJ booth.
VISUAL ID
The name “Court Street Kitchen” evokes a sense of community and belonging.
The logo design incorporates references to the John A. Roebling Bridge, symbolizing the connection and continuity between places and people and features a crown to give homage to the beautiful Queen City.
By using a color palette inspired by the city’s sports teams—navy blue and bright Cincy orange—we aimed to evoke a sense of local pride and community spirit.
Gold accents, including the Roman numeral “VII” prominently displayed, enhancing the upscale and exclusive feel. Windows are adorned with artistic illustration of arms holding drinks and interacting, emphasizing social connection.
